A distinctive feature of industrial revolution 4.0 is the emergence of disruptive innovation in all fields including education. Disruptive innovation influences the development of human life which is demanded innovative by the role of 4.0. One example of the changes that occur in the business world is that Indonesia has adopted a mode of transportation that has been integrated online.
Likewise in the world of education, many institutions offer open classes / online lectures or distance learning. This suggests that the digitization movement in all fields is unavoidable. Teachers As the axis of human resource development, they should also be able to facilitate students to face the changes that occur. Some of the perspectives that teachers must have to improve students' skills are (1) strong mentality that represents the work ethic to be ready to compete; (2) innovative and solution; (3) digital-based cognitive skills along with wisdom values as pillars that represent characters
As one of the institutions that educates teachers, the Open University Teaching and Education faculty (FKIP-UT) is proud to hold a National Scientific Teacher Meeting (TING) which has entered its 10th year. This annual forum is expected to be an arena for sharing knowledge, experience, and strategies for developing education in preparing teachers specifically to have three skills in innovating in the era of the 4.0 Industrial Revolution.

The International Seminar of the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP- UT) 2018 will be held at Universitas Terbuka Convention Center. The UTCC building is a magnificent, spacious multipurpose building with a capacity of up to 3.000 people. The building has a unique architectural design as well as acoustic wall that maximizes the sound system. UTCC’s support facilities consist of 3 dressing rooms, 2 VIP rooms and 2 meeting rooms, Air Conditioner (AC), 8 Parallel trial rooms with LCD projector, Sound System with Dolby Stereo sound system, VIP transit room, Toilet, spacious parking area, and Mosque.
